A Toned-Down OPPO F7 Youth is Arriving on May 28

Looks like OPPO is not done yet with its F7 series. This is because a new variant, called F7 Youth, of this lineup is soon coming to the Philippine market as well and it's according to the recent media invites the Chinese company sent to local bloggers.

The said event is scheduled to happen on May 28.

Aside from the invites and the promotional teaser image above posted on the company's Facebook page, no other details have been shared such as key specs and local pricing. However, rumors and leaks suggested some. For example, this device might sport a 6-inch screen with Full HD+ resolution with a notch nowhere to be found. Power wise, it is reported to be equipped with 4GB RAM and a Mediatek Helio P60 processor with 64GB internal storage as well as a Android 8.1 Oreo based software out of the box.

Reports also suggest that there will be no fingerprint scanner to come with this handset, most likely it will be a  face unlock feature just like on the OPPO A83 model (unboxing and hands on review). And of course an AI-assisted camera modules, but without double camera set up on the rear. Some even say the F7 Youth is the international version of RealMe 1 smartphone that was recently and exclusively launched for the Indian market via Amazon India.

Stay tuned for more updates on May 28 once the OPPO F7 Youth is officially announced.
