Looks Like the OPPO Find X Is Also Coming to the Philippines

If I remember it correctly, it was in 2014 when OPPO released its last smartphone under the Find banner called the Find 7. Back then, it was one of the coolest and most advanced flagship devices that any consumer could buy. It was also the same device that, I think, made the OPPO brand more popular in the smartphone scene locally and internationally. 2K display, Snapdragon 801, 3GB RAM, and a photography technology that could create massive 50MP resolution images were just some of its best offerings at the time.

Since then, no more Find smartphones have ever been released after even though there were rumors of Find 9 and Find 11 coming down the pipeline years after. Instead, the Chinese company focused solely on its midrange and upper midrange level smartphone offerings such as the R and F series and it is no doubt that OPPO has been conquering these segments for years now. Today though, through a teaser poster that OPPO has been posting through its various channels, including in the Philippines, the Find series appears to be coming back very soon.

The teaser photo shows the device's name as Find X. Could this the real flagship-level smartphone that we have been waiting for from OPPO? Well, while there are no big leaks and rumors yet surrounding this particular handset have been unleashed, and knowing what the previous Find devices offered to the masses, I guess it is safe to assume that the Find X is indeed going to be a real flagship device of OPPO that will compete head to head with the likes of OnePlus 6, Samsung Galaxy S series, and Huawei's Mate and P series to name a few.

Some reports claim that an alleged OPPO Find X photo had already been leaked and some enthusiasts even claimed that the handset does not seem to have a fingerprint scanner anywhere. While nothing is so sure as of right now, apart from the phone's official name, it could be that the Find X will feature an in-display fingerprint scanner instead. This maybe true as well since OPPO already filed this kind of in-display technology patent back in April.

Other speculations we are also hearing is that the phone could be equipped with the latest Snapdragon 845 processor, extremely thin bezels with a notch above its screen, as well as the company's own 5x lossless zoom technology that they initially showcased a couple of years back.
