Huawei Nova 3i With 4GB RAM and 128GB Storage Now Launched in the Philippines

Following the massive success of last year's Nova 2i (hands on review), is the official Philippine launch of its successor formally named the Huawei Nova 3i. And yes, it does sport quad camera set up as well, but the front shooter now equipped with AI technology for a much better selfie taking experience.

The Huawei Nova 3i sports a lot of upgrades from its predecessor both on the inside and outside that many users will definitely find hard to resist especially those who have tried or have been using the Nova 2i like myself. And the best part is? It's offered for only Php15,990.

First off the changes is that the Nova 3i is now sandwiched with glass panels with metal frame for a much robust build. As you can see it looks very much like the also-recently-launched Huawei P20 Lite and very far from its predecessor. And then there is the notch up its screen which houses the dual front camera, proximity sensor, and earpiece. Some users like the notch on smartphones and some don't, if you are from the latter, then don't worry for you can still hide them through the display settings.

3D Qmoji is also one of the newest additions to this device. This will allow users to generate an animated version of their face up to ten seconds in long with voice recording function using the built-in Qmojis such as penguin, cat, robot, rabbit and more and send them to their friends. I am guessing this will also work even on non-Huawei smartphones.

The cameras on the Huawei Nova 3i, as already mentioned above, are two on the front and another two on the back. And these are configured at 16MP + 2MP on the rear with aperture of of f/2.2 and the 24MP + 2MP selfie shooter powered by AI tech that can detect a number of scenarios to produce the best possible photos. The secondary 2MP cameras are mostly used for capturing more depth with each image and enhance photos even more with the bokeh or blurred background effects.

Its screen is pegged at 6.3" with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and Full HD+ LCD display resolution. Similar to the Nova 2i, this Nova 3i should also provide one of the best viewing experiences and display qualities. Underneath this handset is a Huawei's own HiSilicon Kirin 710 octa-core processor, which is a definite upgrade from last year's initial installment. Paired with that is a roomy 4GB of RAM and instead of the usual 64GB, it now comes with a staggering 128GB internal storage. Not only that, it will still supports microSD card through the SIM 2 slot.

And then the usual connectivity and miscellaneous features are still onboard the Nova 3i such as WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, and 4G LTE support as well as FM Radio, Face Unlock and Fingerprint Scanner functionalities.
