Notch-Equipped OPPO A5 Midrange Handset Announced in China

OPPO does not seem to slow down anytime soon as a brand new smartphone of theirs has just been unveiled in China following the OPPO Find X announcement that took place just a couple of weeks back in Paris. Today, the Chinese electronics giant revealed another notch-equipped device under the model name of A5.

In addition to its notch, the OPPO A5 also bears dual camera setup on its rear panel alongside the returning diamond-pattern design. These two camera on the back are pegged at 13MP for the primary shooter and 2MP for the secondary. On the front is an 8MP selfie camera.

The display on the A5 comes in 6.2-inch size with HD+ resolution or 1520 x 720 pixel arrangement. Its has a 19:9 aspect ratio screen in case you wonder. Inside this little beauty are octa-core Snapdragon 450 processor, 4GB RAM, and 64GB internal storage with support to microSD card up to 256GB.

The OPPO A5 is now available for pre-order in China with official sales to start on July 13, 2018. It is priced at only 1,500 CNY or about Php12,000. There is no word yet if the said phone will also be released in the Philippines.
