Honor Play with Kirin 970 Will Be Priced at Php15,990

Honor Philippines will finally launch the much anticipated Honor Play smartphone in the local market on August 11 through an event set to happen at SM Fairview Annex Atrium.

It is one of those devices that the Huawei sub-brand company has been teasing us. And one of its highlights is its Kirin 970 processor partnered with either 4GB or 6RG of RAM and 64GB of default expandable storage. And then very recently, its local pricing has just been revealed where it makes the device even more appealing and exciting. It only bears a Php15,990 asking price. That makes the device the most affordable smartphone on the market powered by Kirin 970 chipset, the same processor powering the P20 and Mate 10 series of flagship devices from Huawei.

In addition to the flagship-level processor, the Honor Play is equipped with AI capabilities which is built-in via NPU or Neural Processing Unit and the new GPU Turbo technology. This will allow the device to be even more optimized even while playing games, to increase processing power more efficiently with less battery consumption in the process.

Camera department will not disappoint either, at least on paper. On its back we a dual shooter setup pegged at 16MP+2MP combo while the selfie camera is at 16MP.
