The Galaxy Tab S4 is a 2-in-1 Tablet Unveiled by Samsung

Apart from the newly-launched and super hot Galaxy Note 9 phablet, Samsung has another S Pen equipped device that is also coming out in the Philippine market. This is the new Galaxy Tab S4. It is a 2-in-1 Android-powered tablet that is aimed at those young professionals or content creators who want to do more on the go.

Samsung DeX

This is the very first time Samsung is bringing in the DeX functionality to its tablet, specifically to this new Galaxy Tab S4. This feature enables the Android tablet to provide PC-like experience allowing users to open multiple desktop-style windows for Android apps which includes the Microsoft Suite of applications. Just like in PCs, users will also be able to resize each app when needed as well as do the drag-and-drop tasks between apps.

The Samsung DeX is activated when the Galaxy Tab S4 is connected to the Book Cover Keyboard, sold separately, or through the Quick Panel. Furthermore, if users need additional or a bigger external monitor, they can simply connect the Tab S4 to one via using a USB-C to HDMI multi-port adapter.

S Pen

Another unique feature of the Galaxy Tab S4 (besides the Galaxy Note series) is the inclusion of the company's smart pen aka S Pen. Unlike the cover keyboard, this stylus comes in the packaging upfront. With this S Pen, Tab S4 users will be able to enjoy taking notes on the fly through the Screen-Off Memo feature, as well as navigate, translate or organize notes via Samsung Notes. They can even send personalized texts through Samsung Live Messages using the S Pen.

Display and Audio

The best display and audio quality are something that Samsung made sure to include in this one too. Right out of the box, this 2-in-1 tablet offers an immersive 10.5-inch display with Super AMOLED and 2560x1600 resolution. If you have been using this type of quality from Samsung, you'd know that they are really good. Now when it comes to sound quality, Samsung partnered with the audio experts in the industry.
