The Nintendo Witch world has just become even more exciting as the company has officially launched its online service which allows users to play dozens of classic and new games online for a much affordable monthly or annual fee.

The Nintendo Switch Online will be offered for $3.99 a month, $7.99 for every three months or $19.99 for 12 months or one year. A family plan is also going to be offered which can support up to 8 accounts for $34.99 a year. To me, the Php19.99/year plan is so much more affordable considering all the games and perks that each users will get from the subscription. It's like the Netflix of the gaming scene.

At initial launch, gamers will be able to play the NES classics like Super Mario Bros. 3 and The Legend of Zelda together with 20 others online. More and more titles will be added regularly.

Cloud Save feature is another Nintendo Switch Online service that many gamers will get excited about. However, it is important to note that not all titles will have this functionality. Games like upcoming Pokemon RPGs (Let's Go Pikachu and Let's Go Eevee) won't support this feature.

Each subscription will also come with a smartphone app companion which users and players can use to login to their online account or even chat with friends. More on it below.
