Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro with Quad-Camera Setup Unveiled


Xiaomi has unveiled the new Redmi Note 6 Pro in Thailand. Well at least in the Thai forum over at MI.com website.

The Redmi Note 6 Pro is Xiaomi's first device to sport dual rear cameras both in the rear and in front sides. On the back it comes equipped with 12MP main shooter with a secondary 5MP camera while on the front are 20MP and 2MP combo.

The screen has been updated compared to the predecessor - the Redmi Note 5 Pro - at 6.26-inch Full HD+ IPS display and it now has a notch. Xiaomi promises a total of  86% screen-to-body ratio and a 2.5D Gorilla Glass panel to come with this new installment.

Powering the smartphone is a Snapdragon 636 processor paired with Adreno 509 and 4GB if RAM with 64GB expandable internal storage. On the back as well is a Fingerprint Scanner feature. Then it also supports dual SIM functionality as well as 4G LTE network connectivity.

In Thailand, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro is priced at 6,990 baht. That's about Php11,700 when converted in Philippine currency. We don't know yet if and when Xiaomi will bring this device outside of Thailand.
