Linksys Velop Smart WiFi Routers Launched in Davao
In addition to the new and already available Linksys Velop intelligent dual-band home WiFi series, Linksys Philippines is also launching the tri-band series of Velop WiFi routers in the local market.
Through a simple media event that Linksys PH held in Davao City yesterday, they officially introduced these new smart WiFi routers not just in Davao but also in the whole Mindanao market. And later this year, will also be released nationwide.
One of the main or best reasons to get these WiFi routers is if you have a quite bigger house and your WiFi signal can not cover the entire vicinity. In a most familiar tech wording here, these Velop mesh WiFi router systems act like WiFi extender or repeater, but in much much smarter way. So if you are having dead-spot issues within your house or some parts of it has very poor signal reception maybe because it is too far from the main router or the walls are too thick or solid for signals to pass through, then Velop routers are the best solutions.
All you have to do is set up the first one with your DSL or Fibr connection at home, and then use the Linksys app, which is available both on App Store and Google Play, to connect as many Velop routers as you would like or needed. What's nice is, all units will only have network name and password and the WiFi connection in your mobile devices will automatically switch to the nearest unit or with the strongest signal when you move around the house so your connection is never lost.
It is a smart device as all of its performance analytics is cloud-based and it automatically does all the maintenance on its own such as downloading software or security updates from Linksys servers, optimizing itself whenever it detects poor signal reception or if one of units or nodes is not functioning well, it will "self heal" without the need for you to do anything. All you have to care about is to make sure that it is connected to a power source and nothing more.
