HMD Global through the Nokia Philppines official Facebook page also unveiled the other day that each purchase of the Nokia 5.1 Plus will come with a free portable game pad controller as an early holiday treat so users will be able "to enjoy an immersive gaming experience even before the holiday season starts." The company, in addition to being a great smartphone photography gadget, is also positioning this device as a gaming-centric handset for casual mobile gamers with its powerful Mediatek P60 processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB expandable internal storage and its huge 5.8-inch HD+ display.

The company even revealed that the Nokia 5.1 Plus is the official mobile device partner of Synergy 88 - creators of the Filipino mobile game Barangay 143.

And as for AI technology, HMD says the Nokia 5.1 Plus also has one embedded into its core which enables the phone to have "deep-learning face recognition and real-time photo enhancement" capabilities. So yes, the camera is AI-equipped like many other high-end phones today.
