Xiaomi Black Shark Helo With 10GB RAM Launched in China

That is completely correct! It may sound crazy and a bit overkill for a smartphone even in 2018 standards, but the latest phone from Xiaomi called the Black Shark Helo becomes of the very few devices to be equipped with a staggering 10GB of RAM right into its heart.

Joining Razer and ASUS ROG in the mobile gaming hardware scene is none other than Xiaomi, and its entry into the game is the Black Shark smartphone. Now in case you missed it, the first Black Shark device was launched a few months back and it had 6GB and 8GB RAM options. Fast forward to today, Xiaomi is releasing basically almost of the same device with a couple upgrades, it now comes in 10GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.

In terms of specs, designs, and gaming-centric features such as the RGB lighting, vapor cooling system, and 60Hz refresh rate, it remains the same.

The display has been upgraded as well on the Black Shark Helo. It now has a 6.01-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display. It's still powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. There is a Quick Charge 3.0 and a massive 4000mAh battery. And then for the camera, there's dual rear at 12MP + 20MP combo and a 20MP front facing camera.

The Xiaomi Black Shark Helo is currently China-exclusive, to be released on October 30, that bears a price tag of 4,199 Yuan or about Php32,500. There is no word as of yet if this device will be released in the Philippines as well.
