Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 with 10GB RAM Has Been Finally Announced

This Chinese smartphone is probably one of the most talked about Android smartphones in the last couple of months. In terms of leaks and rumors, the tech blogging industry around the globe is not lacking any. Today, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 has been finally announced.

Xiaomi has almost completely gotten rid of the bezels with the Mi Mix 3. All four sides have extremely thin borders, the company claims a 93.4% screen to body ratio. What's nice is, there is no notch to be found anywhere on the screen, which I guess a lot of Android and Xiaomi fans will be happy to hear about.

So how Xiaomi managed to do away the notch with this new smartphone? And where is the front camera then? Well, the Chinese electronics giant adopted the sliding mechanism for the selfie camera. The idea is similar to the OPPO Find X, Vivo NEX and the new Honor Magic 2 smartphones, you slide a portion of the device in the upper part to reveal the front facing camera.

Speaking of the front camera, it boasts a 24MP main shooter and a secondary 2MP lens. One its back is a dual 12MP camera. Yes, that four cameras in total.

The Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 is the company's second Android smartphone to be equipped with the massive 10GB RAM, second after the Black Shark Helo that was launched a couple of days ago.

More on the RAM though, while it will be offered with that two-digit RAM and a huge 256GB storage, other variants will also be available both in RAM and storage. There are 6GB/128GB and 8GB/128GB, and 8GB/256GB versions as well.

Powering this handset is a Snapdragon 845 processor, the same flagship chipset that powers many of the flagship smartphones around such as the ASUS ROG Phone, Galaxy Note 9, OPPO Find X, and more.

The Xiamo Mi Mix 3 as mentioned above will be released in four different variants with different price points. The 6GB/128GB will be for 3,299 Yuan (Php25,500), 8GB/128GB for 3,599 Yuan (Php27,800), 8GB/256GB for 3,999 Yuan (Php31,000), and 10GB/256GB for 4,999 Yuan (Php38,600).
