The New Huawei Y9 2019 is Now Official and Priced

Huawei has finally and officially launched the new Y9 2019 edition smartphone. It is a midrange smartphone like the previous Y series, and it sports dual camera on the back and another two on the front panel all equipped with AI technology, a fingerprint scanner on the back, a Kirin 710 octa-core processor, and comes in three different color variants.

The Huawei Y9 (2019) has a large 6.5-inch Full HD+ display with a notch that houses the dual selfie camera. Its screen boasts a 19.5:9 aspect ration with a total resolution of 2340 x 1080.

Its four cameras are built with AI technology which according to Huawei is capable of detecting more than 500 scene types such as flower, waterfall, dog, cat, bike, auto, food, blue sky, car and many others.

The Company also said its new Kirin 710 processor is up to 75% more improved than Kirin 659 SoC and through its 12nm process technology, battery consumption is down by 30%. It is also equipped with GPU Turbo system for a faster and more smooth gaming experience. Inside this midrange beast is a massive 4000mah that can last up to 9 hours on videoplayback or gaming mode, 65 hours of music listening or up to 14 hours of web browsing.
