Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite To Arrive in the Philippines As Well

Apart from the Mi 8 Pro, its other little brother called the Mi 8 Lite is also coming to the Philippine market soon. That's at least according to Xiaomi Philippines official Facebook page as of today. A brand new teaser (above) has been posted on their page announcing the Mi 8 Lite's arrival in three days time.

In my previous post, I talked about the Mi 8 Pro which was just also teased by Xiaomi Philippines about its local release to happen real soon, but it was not mentioned as to when that would be. However, it is interesting to know that a few hours later they announced the coming of this Lite variant and it will be happening in the next three days, so I guess that's either the Lite will be released first then the Pro will follow afterwards or they will simply be both arriving on the same date. We don't actually know yet.

Unlike the Mi 8 Pro's in-display fingerprint sensor, the Mi 8 Lite has its fingerprint scanner mounted on its back panel.  But it still has that huge 6.26-inch notched display with Full HD+ IPS resolution right out of the box. And it will come in two storage variants, one in 4GB/64GB and another in 6GB/128GB. We just do not know when which one will be released in the Philippines.

We still get a dual rear camera set up on the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite in 12MP + 5MP combination and a selfie camera with 24MP configuration.
