Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro is Coming to the Philippines

Xiaomi Philippines has just teased that its new Mi 8 Pro smartphone is coming to the Philippines through a post on their official Facebook page. The photo you see above was used to announce this phone's arrival to the local market with the caption that says "Double the cameras. Double the pro. #Mi8Pro #LookInsideMi."

Apart from that, nothing more was released by the page, not even the availability date nor pricing was even posted. Maybe we'll see more in the coming days as we approach its official local launch here. But for now, let's stick to the idea that it is also coming to the local market.

Thankfully though, the official details surrounding this smartphone have already been made online since September when it was initially launched and released in China. And some of the most exciting features of this Mi 8 Pro are the huge Full HD+ AMOLED display, the most powerful Snapdragon 845 processor to date, 12MP dual rear camera, a 20MP front facing selfie shooter, and most of all the in-display fingerprint scanner. We are most likely to get the 6GB RAM/128GB storage variant when it reaches the local market. Though no local pricing has been revealed yet, in China this particular variant was priced 3,200 Yuan or about Php25,000 when converted to Philippine currency.
