New Game of Thrones Season 8 Official Teaser and Premiere Date Revealed

A man has waited long enough!

HBO has finally released a first official teaser trailer with actual footage of its existing main cast members for its much anticipated 8th and final season of Game of Thrones TV series. At the end of the teaser is the exact date where the first episode will air on the network, and it's going to be on April 14, 2019.

As expected, being a teaser, and being one of the most sought after and guarded TV series today, the clip does not really show us anything that may give us slight idea of what might happen in this final season that we don't know yet. But still, this teaser with Jon Snow, Arya Stark, and Sansa Stark is actually more than enough, at least for now.

While the first episode will be released on April 14 already, I still hope to see a proper trailer for the series with actual footage from any of the season 8's episodes. Though this teaser appears to be an actual footage, it still has a feel that it was just filmed for promotional or marketing purposes and is not really part of the season. I could be wrong through, but that how it feels to me.

So a proper and official trailer would be really really great, at least a month before the premiere date.

But if this new official teaser is any indication, this only means that everyone is now in danger more than ever. That everyone may die, you know Valar Morghulis,  unless all the living set aside their own Westeros-goals and come together to fight the common enemy, the massive horde of white walkers/wights coming down the Westeros continent.

Unlike the previous seasons of Game of Thrones, Season 8 will only consist of 6 episodes. But the showrunners have confirmed that it's going to be like watching 6 movies all in all, simply because each episode will have over an hour run time.

Excited? Do you have any guesses or theories as to what the end of this series is going to be? Don't hesitate to share them in the comments section below.
