HMD Global Launches the New Nokia 3.2 and Nokia 4.2 Handsets


There are two more mid-range smartphones that HMD Global launched at their MWC 2019 event in Barcelona together with the Nokia 9 which houses five rear cameras, a $35 Nokia 210 feature phone, and Nokia 1 Plus with latest Android Pie Go Edition, meet the Nokia 3.2 and Nokia 4.2.

The Nokia 3.2 and Nokia 4.2 will be released in two RAM/ROM variants, one with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage and another in 3GB/32GB version. The rest of the specs of each phone remain the same, except for the fingerprint scanner which will only be available with the 3GB RAM variant of the Nokia 3.2. Also, inside this phone is a huge 4000mAh battery pack which HMD Global promises to last up to two days on every charge while the Nokia 4.2 will have a much smaller 3000mAh battery pack.

HMD Global is debuting a dedicated Google Assistant button both of these phones. The Nokia 4.2, unlike Nokia 3.2's plastic back panel, sports a glass materials for a much premium feel and look. And the front panel sports a nice 2.5D curved glass too, while the 3.2 model has a flat yet bigger 6.26-inch display. On the 4.2 will be a 5.7-inch display with HD+ resolution similar to the other.

Both of these devices are also Android One phones which means users are guaranteed to receive major software updates and regular security patches for two years. Nokia 3.2 is promised to arrive in May and the Nokia 4.2 will start shipping as early as April.
