March 5 is OPPO F11 Pro's Launch Date

Came to read more information about OPPO's upcoming smartphone? Well, thankfully though we just heard a brand new one as of today. The Chinese smartphone maker has just officially confirmed that this coming March 5 will be the phone's formal launch date and the event will happen in Mumbai, India.

Along with the launch date announcement, OPPO confirmed a couple of F11 Pro's key specs, some of those are the front and rear camera configurations. The promotional image below shows us that OPPO will apparently focus more on the back camera this time around. There we see that this yet-to-be-announced device will be mounted with dual rear camera setup with the main shooter being equipped with an AI-driven 48MP lens and accompanied by a 5MP secondary lens which is most likely for depth sensing. LED flash is still visible right on top of the vertically-aligned dual shooter, and then a traditional fingerprint scanner right below the camera modules suggesting that in-display print sensor is not arriving to the F series just yet.

The front panel of the OPPO F11 Pro, based on the last image above, shows that the notch is going finally going away from the F series beginning with this one. There is going to be a real-deal full screen implementation on this device with the front camera using a pop-up mechanism, not the sliding one found on the Find X. Rumors suggest that the pop-up selfie shooter will be a 16MP with f2.2 snapper.

Additional unconfirmed reports claim that the F11 Pro will come in two storage variants, one in 64GB and another in 128GB with 6GB RAM for both. In terms of processor, a MediaTek Helio P70 seems to be what we are going to have here if leaks are to be believed. A massive 4000mAh battery pack is also expected to be embedded in this device with rapid charge support.

And speaking of fast charge, OPPO's own fast charging system called VOOC 3.0 will be included in this device promising to be up to 20 minutes faster compared to predecessor.
