Realme C1 to get an Android 9 Pie Update Very Soon

If you can still remember, Realme announced last month that all of its smartphones will receive Android 9 Pie update during the first half of this year. Today, a more detailed roadmap on the said software updates rollout has just been made public by Realme itself. And thankfully, it does include the Realme C1 in the lineup.

It was Realme CEO Madhav Sheth who made the announcement today via his Twitter account revealing which of the phones and when they will get their respective software updates. If you would like to see the complete list, you can visit this link, but since so far only Realme C1 and Realme 3 are the only phones released in the Philippine market, I will be just mentioning about these two.

According to the timeline, the Realme 3 will receive an Android Security Patch this month of April. This smartphone is already with Android 9 Pie and ColorOS 6 version right out of the box, so users of this phone are just fine in this regard. The Realme C1, on the other hand, will have its own Android Security Patch in May, and then in June it will have the much awaited Android 9 Pie with ColorOS 6 software update rolled out.

However, no exact dates as to when the roll out will begin but they should happen within the dates indicated in the post. It is also important to note that since this is going to be a staged roll out, not every device will receive the update notification on the very first day.
