Samsung Philippines Officially Launches the Galaxy A20 Phone

One of the latest members of the ever-growing Galaxy A series of smartphones from Samsung has just been officially launched in the Philippines, meet the new Samsung Galaxy A20.

In terms of design, the Galaxy A20 does not really set itself apart from its Galaxy A siblings. There are the extremely thin bezels and of course the waterdrop-shaped notch which Samsung is calling the Infinity-V display design. That cutout holds the 8MP selfie camera as well as earpiece and some sensors. The screen measuers 6.4" diagonally with HD+ resolution, but what's even nice here is the Super AMOLED display technology by Samsung itself which makes the display even more vibrant than the IPS ones from other manufacturers.

Power-wise, there is the octa-core Exynos 7884 paired with 3GB of RAM. And then for the camera, users will still have a dual camera setup on the back with 13MP and 5MP combo where the secondary shooter has Ultrawide angle lens. And then in the software side, it is powered by the latest Android 9 Pie with also the latest OneUI on top, Samsung's very own brand new interface. It is also important to note that this phone now has USB Type-C port which is one of the features that many fans and enthusiasts have been waiting for to have on a midrange phone. Fingerprint scanner remains at the back, and right below it is the Samsung branding.

Like every other phone, the Galaxy A20 supports dual SIM card and a microSD card. But unlike many other ones, this device supports all three of them at the same time. Cool right? If the default 32GB storage is not enough, users can slide in a microSD card up to 512GB in size and still use the other two slots with 4G LTE SIM cards all at once.

It is also exciting to know that apart from this Galaxy A20 being equipped with a massive long-lasting 4000mAh battery, there is also a 15W Fast Chage feature coming with this smartphone altogether.
