Honor 20 and Honor 20 Pro Now Launched with Quad Rear Cameras and Punch Hole Display

As of today for Huawei's sub-brand Honor, it's still business as usual as they just formally launched their new flagship smartphones for the year bearing the name of Honor 20 and Honor 20 Pro. The highlights of these phones are the quadruple camera setup on the back, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, punch hole display, and the 3D holographic design on the back panel.

Being under the same series, there are a lot of similarities and differences between these two phones. Let's start with the shared specs and features first. Here, both of the device offer 6.26-inch display with Full HD+ IPS display and punch hole cutout on the screen, an octa-core Kirin 980 processor, 32MP front camera, and those side-mounted fingerprint scanner. And then of course, they both run the same Android 9 Pie with EMUI 9.2 OS version right out of the box.

As the name suggests, the Pro is the slightly more upgraded version of the two and that's where the differences come in between the devices. While they are powered by the same flagship-level processor from Huawei, the Honor 20 has lesser RAM at 6GB compared to the Honor 20 Pro's massive 8GB RAM, and then for storage, the case is the same. The non-Pro model has 128GB right out of the box while the Pro has 256GB upfront.

Battery wise, while the two smartphones are equipped with the same 22.5W fast charging system, they differ in size. Honor 20 has 3750mAh and Honor 20 Pro has 4000mAh.

The Cameras

The cameras on these Honor 20 devices, though not being powered by Leica like what we see in the P and Mate series from Huawei, are still pretty interesting. Then again a 32MP selfie camera that sits right in the punch hole.
