Vivo Y15 with Helio P22 Processor Gets Listed on Its Own Website

On the Indian website of Vivo, the company just silently listed one of its unannounced smartphones called the Y15. As you can already imagine, this is the slightly watered down version of the recently-unveiled Y17 device sporting 128GB internal storage. Unlike the latter which is now available in the Philippines, we are to officially hear from Vivo yet if this Y15 variant will also make its way to the local market. However, in India, it seems to be sort of officially launched knowing that it was quickly posted and removed from the company's own website.

The Vivo Y15 smartphone listing was complete with all the things that we need to know about a smartphone such as official renders, specs, features, and including the pricing. It was briefly listed though and was almost immediately taken down after being spotted by DealnTech website.

According to the listing, this upcoming Vivo Y15 will sport a 6.35-inch HD+ display with waterdrop-like notch holding the 16MP selfie camera. On the back panel is a triple rear camera setup sporting 13MP + 8MP + 2MP combinations with 120-degree ultra-wide angle lens and depth sensor together with an LED flash. On the inside is an octa-core Mediatek Helio P22 processor, alongside it is 4GB of RAM and a default 64GB internal storage. The storage can be expanded though up to 256GB via microSD card just like most Android smartphones out there.

Perhaps its main selling point lies in the power department. Per listing, this device will come equipped with a massive 5000mAh battery all accompanied by an AI programming from Vivo. And then of course it will run on the most recent version of the FunTouch 9 OS based on Android 9 Pie. As for color selection, there will be two to choose from, an Aqua Blue and a Burgundy Red.

Vivo Y15 specs:
  •  6.35-inch HD+ display
  • 1544 x 720 resolution
  • Octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 processor
  • 4GB RAM
  • 64GB internal storage
  • Supports microSD card up to 256GB

  • Dual SIM
