Users Report Night Mode and Super Slow-Mo Camera Features Now Available on Samsung Galaxy A50

In the last few days, Samsung released a June security patch firmware update for the Galaxy A50 smartphone in the Indian market. But according to a post from SamMobile, it appears there is more to it than just a regular software update, at least according to some tips from its readers in India.

Some users claim, after they have done the update, that they are now seeing new camera features available for use and these are the Night Mode and Super Slow-Mo which are two of the hottest camera features nowadays most especially in the midrange category.

The Samsung Galaxy A50's security patch update for June 2019 bears firmware code A505FDDU2ASF2. In the changelog of this update, Samsung indicates improvements on stability of Know Guard and the device's security, nothing more. But as per post on SamMobile, one of their readers tipped them on Twitter claiming that they are seeing more that were not mentioned in the changelog, the Night Mode and Super Slow-Mo camera features.

However, the report also mentioned that even after the update is done, these new features are not available right away. They had to reset the camera settings first after doing the update in order to see these new exciting features.

The software also includes the ability to read QR codes without the need to use Bixby Vision.

So if you are from India and have done the update yet still don't see these features, try resetting your camera settings within the app. Or if you have not done the update itself on your Galaxy A50 smartphone, you can manually check it via Settings >> Software Update.
