Nintendo Switch with Better Battery Life Arrives in the Philippines

A few weeks back, Nintendo announced a much better version of the Nintendo Switch alongside the launching of the Nintendo Switch Lite handheld gaming console. Today, the regular Switch variant with improved battery life just arrived in the Philippine market, thanks to Datablitz.

DataBlitz, the official game and console retailer chain in the country, has just posted on their Facebook page a couple of days ago that they are now offering the new and improved 2019 version of the Nintendo Switch both in Grey and Red/Blue color variants for only Php16,995 a pop. The pricing also includes the Nintendo Switch Dock in black as well as the Joy-Con controllers.

This latest version of the Nintendo Switch now offers a much longer-lasting battery life of about 4.5 to 9 hours depending on the game that users will play. To give you an idea, with the original model, players only last around 2.5 to 6.5 hours on a single charge. Now with the new model, Nintendo says if you play The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, it will last you approximately 5.5 hours. That's an increase of about 2.5 hours from using the old model with the same game in handheld mode.
