OPPO Reno 2 Series with 20x Zoom Just Got a Launch Date Already

Alright so apparently, Reno 2 smartphone series is already coming our way and the launch date has just been revealed by none other than OPPO itself via its Twitter account for the Indian market. In the tweets, not only the launch date was revealed but also how its quad cameras will look like on its back and of course its super exciting 20x Zoom capability.

According to the OPPO's tweet announcement, the OPPO Reno 2 series will officially launch on August 28, 2019 in India initially.

The first OPPO Reno series has been a great success for OPPO thanks to its super stunning physical design and colorways and super impressive cameras on the back that offers up to 10x hybrid zoom and 60x digital zoom. That initial release of Reno phones was already great and many fans and enthusiasts really just loved how OPPO managed to produce such great smartphone innovation. Apparently, that was just the beginning. OPPO Reno 2 promises to beat its predecessor with this 20x Zoom. Of course it is not clear yet how OPPO is going to execute this one but we imagine it would be a hybrid zoom solution similar to the original OPPO Reno 10x Zoom device. Regardless, 10x Zoom with the current OPPO Reno has been nothing but impressive, so we are just simply excited to see what a 20x Zoom has in store for us through this Reno 2 Series.

From the teaser image, it appears the overall physical design of the Reno 2 series will remain the same as what we have seen on the original installment such as the all-screen display panel without any notch or hole-punch cutout in it, extremely thin bezels on all sides, and the unique shark-fin pop-up selfie shooter that's holding the front facing camera, except that this time around it will have twice as much zooming power capability in its camera department. Apart from those, nothing more is known about this upcoming installments. We will all know once the devices are officially launched in the next two weeks.

Right now, the OPPO Reno 2 will initially be launched and most likely released in India. International release will follow suit. And for that we have to wait a little longer and hopefully not that long.
