Reports Claim Huawei Will Launch Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro on September 19

As of this moment, there have been a lot of leaks and rumors surrounding the arrival of the upcoming Huawei Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro flagship smartphones. But there is one more detail that's missing in the mix, a launch date. Well, that changes today, at least according to latest rounds of speculations about these most anticipated Huawei flagships.

According to a Russian tech site hi-tech.mail.ru, they were told by Huawei Consumer Business Software President Dr. Wang Chenglu that the Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro will be officially unveling on September 19 at an event to be taken place in Europe. And that the devices will be powered by the newest and most powerful Kirin 990 processor together with brand new GPU, NPU, and a 5G modem.

More on the Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro, rumors suggest that the devices will sport quad-camera setup on its rear with lenses that are still co-engineered with Leica. It is expected that both of the phones will have two 40-megapixel sensors each. The display on the Pro variant is said to sport an amazing 90Hz refresh rate on its massive 6.71-inch Super AMOLED panel. In terms of software, reportedly, the Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro will launch with EMUI 10 based on Android 10 Q mobile operating system.

A possible Huawei Mate 30 Lite is also being talked about in the rumor mill. Some even say it will be the first smartphone to be powered by the newly-revealed HarmonyOS.

Of none of those are official as of writing and things may or may not change once official announcements coming from Huawei are released.
