These are the First Huawei Smartphones to Get the New EMUI 10 Update

Just last week, Huawei officially introduced its new mobile operating software called the EMUI 10 at their Huawei Developer Conference 2019 (HDC). Fast forward to today, the Chinese company has just released more information about its release and surprisingly it includes the first batch of Huawei smartphones to initially experience this brand new OS.

According to Huawei, the P30 and P30 Pro will be the first ones in line and the EMUI 10 beta version will roll out to these devices as early as September 8. The Mate 20 series will follow along later in September as well as the a few Honor-branded smartphones in that same month. Also, more phones will be added in the future as the EMUI gets closer to the final version.

The EMUI 10 is the company's user interface that is based on the upcoming Android 10 or Android Q OS. There are a lot of new features and enhancements to be excited about the EMUI 10. One of those is the Dark Mode that is becoming a norm now in the world of mobile applications. Although Dark Mode is already part of the Android Q, each app developer has to include that in their app. But Huawei added the Dark Mode of their own on top of that so even if developer did not include that particular feature in their app, EMUI 10 users will still have that option to go dark for that app.
