OPPO A5 2020 and A9 2020 Are Launching in the Philippines This Month

OPPO Philippines is set to launch the new and improved A Series within this month of September. The next generation of these smartphones will be officially called the A5 2020 and A9 2020. With these new smartphones, the company is highlighting features like the mobile photography, audio and gaming capabilities, long-lasting battery and stunning designs.

While the official local launch will happen in a couple of weeks, OPPO has already shared key specs of these upcoming devices. Both of these phones will sport quad camera setup on the rear, 12MP for the A5 2020 while 48MP for the A9 2020 model. In addition to that, it is going to be the same processor that will power these phones - Snapdragon 665 chip. In terms of RAM and storage, while both will come with up to 128GB internal storage right out of the box, the A5 will offer 4GB RAM and it's 8GB RAM for the A9 2020. Battery-wise, the two smartphones will both sport 5000mAh battery capacity.

However, OPPO did not share the screen sizes and display resolutions yet for the said smartphones and whether any of them will support fast charging technology.

  • Dolby Atmos Dual Stereo speakers
  • 5000mAh battery

OPPO further announced that the A5 2020 and A9 2020 will be officially launched in the Philippines on September 19, 2019. Together with the launch, they will also be introducing a brand new ambassador for these new A Series. Pricing will be revealed as well at the launch event. So stay tuned.
