Realme 5 Pro with 48MP Quad Camera is Coming to the Philippines Real Soon

A few weeks ago, Realme India introduced two new smartphones named the Realme 5 and the Realme 5 Pro. Today, Realme Philippines has just confirmed to us that the Realme 5 Pro will soon be arriving in the country as well.

As expected from a Realme smartphone, there are alot to be excited about this upcoming phone such as great specs and features for a very competitive price. One of this device's main highlights is the quad camera setup on the back with main shooter offering 48MP Sony IMX 586 lens. Yes you read that right, four rear cameras. From dual camera offering found on the Realme 3 series, the company is skipping the triple camera segment and going straight with four lenses right out of the box.

The other three cameras on the back are equipped with ultrawide, ultra-macro, and portrait (depth) sensors. Including the front shooter, all cameras are AI-equipped for much better performance.

Powering the Realme 5 Pro is a Snapdragon 712 AIE octa-core processor. So apart from great mobile photography experience, this phone is also focused on proving the best mobile gaming experience. Realme said that this processor "combines the effects of the latest Qualcomm upgrades to advance gaming capabilities and improve stunning graphics for a overall affordable flagship experience like no other."

The Realme 5 Pro sports a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display with a smaller waterdrop notch that holds the selfie camera. In terms of storage and RAM, the device offers up to 8GB RAM and up to 128GB internal storage that can still be expanded via microSD card up to 256GB. As for its battery, there is a massive 4045mAh pack with 20W fast charger that comes in the box.

Realme Philippines did not mention the exact arrival date but only said that the 5 Pro is "expected to arrive in the next few weeks" which should be enough and in time for the upcoming holiday season. And then of course official pricing is not revealed until the formal local launch event, so stay tuned for that.
