The new Samsung Galaxy A50s and A30s Launched and Priced in the Philippines

A couple of days ago, I made a post about the Galaxy A50s coming to the Philippines today September 11 and while I mentioned everything there is to know about this new phone compared to its standard Galaxy A50 counterpart, the pricing was missing since Samsung was still to reveal it at the time. Well, today, Samsung has formally unveiled the official pricing for this A50s and it's priced at Php18,990.

Now apart from the Galaxy A50s, Samsung is also bringing another "S" version of its popular Galaxy A series for the year, the Galaxy A30s. Thankfully, Samsung Philippines has just also revealed the official pricing for this one and it's going to be for Php12,990 a pop.

Both of the Galaxy A50s and A30s got a couple of cool updates from their original versions (learn more about the Galaxy A50s here). The Galaxy A30s, for example, now sports a 25MP primary camera on the back, that's an improvement over its predecessor's 16MP. In addition to that, a third camera has been added as well sporting 8MP with ultrawide lens.

Besides the camera upgrades and the new cool geometric designs on the back panel, the rest of the specs remain the same for the two Galaxy smartphones. However, it is important to note that the original Galaxy A30 has Full HD+ Super AMOLED display, that has been downgraded though to just HD+ Super AMOLED resolution on the A30s model.

  • 6.4-inch HD+ Super AMOLED Display
