OPPO Philippines Launches and Reveals Pricing for the new Reno 2 and Reno 2 F Smartphones, Enco Q1 Noise Cancelling Headphones and its Brand Ambassadors

Yesterday, OPPO Philippines just officially launched their two new smartphone offerings in the local market sporting notch-less AMOLED screens with Full HD+ resolution as as well as pop-up selfie cameras and stunning colorways for pricing that's much more affordable than previous iterations. Meet the new all-new OPPO Reno2 and Reno2 F.

The OPPO Reno2 has shark fin-like pop-up selfie camera that houses 16MP sensor with four cameras on the back pegged at 48MP for the main shooter, 8MP ultrawide lens, 13MP telephoto lens, and 2MP monochrome lens. These rear cameras are packed with features that not just many fans will appreciate and enjoy but also content creators, thanks to its Hybrid and Digital Zoom capabilities of up to 20X, Ultra Steady video stabilization (equipped with OIS and 60fps), and many others. This phone is priced at Php28,990 and will come with free Muse Bluetooth Speaker worth Php2,499.

On the other hand, the OPPO Reno2 F replaces the company's popular F series. And just like the other device, it also offers full HD+ AMOLED display panel without any cutout or notch to be seen in the display. There is a mechanical pop-up selfie camera, though its design is more traditional or similar to the F11 Pro model. That selfie cam offers 16MP sensor as well. On the back are also quad-camera set up at 48MP + 8MP (ultrawide) + 2MP (monocrhrome) + 2MP (deapth) with OIS and EIS features for less shaky photos and videos. This one is priced at Php19,990 and will come with O1 Bluetooth Headphone worth Php2,499.

In terms of availability, users can pre-order these devices from October 18 - 24 at any OPPO kiosks, concept stores, and retail partners nationwide. And will be available starting October 25 both offline and through online stores like LazMall, Shopee, Akulaku, Argomall, Abenson, and MemoXpress.

Globe and Smart Postpaid Plans

The OPPO Reno2 series will be available through Globe and Smart postpaid offerings as well giving users more affordable way of getting one starting November 8, 2019. The Reno2 can be availed under Plan 1,799 from Globe with no cashout fee. While for Smart, it can be had under Smart Signature Plan M Php1,499 with a Php7,500 one time cash out fee.

Meet the OPPO Reno2 Series Ambassadors

The Reno Series values creativity and self-expression through the stories that make up our everyday lives, brought to life by storymakers that make up The Reno Collective. So that said and together with the launch of these two new amazing smartphones, OPPO Philippines introduced its brand ambassadors for the Reno2 Series which consist of notable YouTube vloggers and content creators. At the event, Daniel Marsh, Mikael Daez, and Gabbi Garcia were presented and had a quick Q&A with the hosts. Laureen Uy is also part of the lineup but she was not present at the launch. These content creators may differ in theme, but they all share the same goal of creative self-expression in the form of videography, which then inspires others to embrace being a storymaker.

With the mix of old and new storymakers onboarded, OPPO also launched the "100 Moments" digital campaign. This campaign offers a glimpse of 100 diverse stories, all creatively captured with the Reno2. Each distinct story is open for viewing online through the hashtag #AnyoneIsAStorymaker.

OPPO Enco Q1

At the event, OPPO Philippines also introduced the new OPPO Enco Q1 wireless headphones with noise cancelling features and offers up to 15 hours of music playback and only charges in two hours, according to OPPO. Priced at Php4,990, the accessory comes in three different color options - Midnight Black, Silver White, and Sunny Orange. It was designed by OPPO acoustic team, it cancels out outside noise enabling uninterrupted auditory experience.
