oppo find x2 launch

OPPO's Find X2 launch confirmed for next week

OPPO has been a little bit quiet since the year 2020 has begun in terms of product releases. But that is about to change now as the company is set to finally reveal its next flagship smartphones for the year. On March 6, the upcoming OPPO Find X2 series will be formally introduced to the world. The launch will be a global livestream though and can be watched via the company's official YouTube channel (see here). The livestream will start about 5:30PM  Manila time.

In addition to the launch date announcement above, OPPO Philippines also shared to us that they are bringing the Snapdragon 865-powered OPPO Find X2 Pro in the local market this March. The company said it "will feature the most advanced screen OPPO has developed to date, with emphasis on resolution, screen refresh rate, color, and high dynamic range." That sounds pretty exciting to be honest. In fact, some of these specs have already been teased and confirmed by none other than OPPO's Vice President Brian Shen via his Twitter account.

That refresh rate and resolution though

That means, the OPPO Find X2 series will boast a staggering 120Hz refresh rate and a "3K" display resolution. Whatever that 3K resolution means or translates to, we will have to find out next week during the launch. In addition to the latest Snapdragon 865 processor, the upcoming flagship smartphone is also confirmed to sport a punch-hole selfie camera, and a 48MP Sony IMX689 sensor on its back.

In reality, a lot of specs and features about the OPPO Find X2 are still under wraps. But if you dive into the rumor mill, you will find that quite a lot has already been leaked so far, some seem to be accurate while some are not.
