Poco X2 with 120Hz refresh rate and 64MP main quad-camera finally launched

As previously teased a few days back, POCO has formally launched its first ever smartphone offering as an independent brand from Xiaomi and the device is officially called the POCO X2. Like what it did with the Pocophone F1, POCO is banking on the device's powerful specs, features, and very aggressive price tags. And before I forget it, the X2 is a rebranded version of the Redmi K30 that was released in China late last year.

The POCO X2 boasts a massive 6.67-inch screen with display resolution of 2400 x 1080. And speaking of the display, one of this device's main selling points is that it boasts 120Hz refresh rate. The company calls its display "reality flow" perhaps to give users more idea on how smooth its refresh rate should be in case number don't make sense. Inside this smartphone is an octa-core Snapdragon 730G processor and paired with Adreno 618 GPU right off the bat. Now in terms of RAM and storage options, the X2 will come in three models - 6GB+64GB, 6GB+128GB, and 8GB+256GB.

There is 3.5mm headphone jack on the phone, it charges via USB Type-C, and its fingerprint reader is mounted on the side of the phone, not at the back nor in the display. As for the software, it packs Android 10 with MIUI 11 on top.

The cameras of the POCO X2 are also generous. There is a quad-camera setup on the back with the main sensor offering 64MP shooter, followed by 8MP ultrawide angle lens, 2MP macro lens, and 2MP depth sensor. On the selfie side, there's dual setup with 20MP being the primary camera and a secondary 2MP lens.
