Another Realme hit is coming to the Philippines next week

Planning to buy a Realme-branded smartphone soon? You might want to delay it a little bit longer as there is another one coming out next week - the Realme C3. Yes, Realme Philippines is set to launch yet another budget-friendly smartphone of them under the C series. The company has started sending media invites to local bloggers and media outlets for the upcoming event set to take place on March 5, 2020.

The C series of smartphones from Realme caters to the entry-level segment of the local smartphone market. So in terms of specs, it is not as exciting as the 5 and the X series offer, but taking the pricing into the account, it's one of the best value-for-money affordable smartphones around. Being the third iteration of the C series, expect the C3 to offer much upgraded specs and features compared to its predecessors for a pricing na super abot kaya!

We are to get the better Realme C3 variant

In India, the Realme C3 version they got there only has dual rear camera and without fingerprint scanner. But here in the Philippines, we are getting the same variant that Thailand and Indonesia got. It is still called Realme C3 but it packs triple rear camera and a fingerprint scanner on its back panel.

The Realme C3 is set to become the most powerful entry-level gaming smartphone as it is to sport the world's first-ever octa-core 12nm MediaTek Helio G70 processor. That's according to the company.

First smartphone to offer Realme UI out of the box

Another exciting specs or feature of this upcoming Realme C3 is that it is also the first device to run on the brand new Realme UI right out of the box. So far the review about the Realme UI, comparing it to ColorOS UI that Realme has been using, has been positive. I heard, it now looks a lot closer to a Vanilla Android than to ColorOS user interface.

Below is the set of specs released in the other two markets.

Realme C3 specs:

  • 6.5-inch HD+ IPS Display
  • 1600 x 720 resolution

  • 2GB RAM + 32GB storage
  • 3GB RAM + 32GB storage
  • 4GB RAM + 64GB storage
  • Supports microSD card
  • 12MP + 2MP + 2MP Triple rear camera with Depth and Macro sensors
  • 5MP front camera
  • Android 10 with Realme UI

  • 5000mAh battery
While the Realme C3 comes in multiple RAM+storage variants as you can see above, we don't know if all of them will be released in the Philippines. So for that detail as well as official pricing and availability, we have to wait until next week.
