It is official! HMD Global has formally announced that they are indeed partnering with the 25th James Bond film titled No Time To Time. This means, Nokia smartphones will be the official mobile devices of the said upcoming film which is to be released in November of this year. HMD Global said that the movie will use the yet-to-be-launched first ever 5G device of their own, alongside some future-proof Nokia phones.

Other Nokia-branded smartphones to be featured in the movie are the Nokia 7.2 that sports a powerful 48MP triple rear camera with Quad Pixel technology and ZEISS optics. There is also the iconic Nokia 3310 that fans know and love.

HMD Global will release a commercial where it will feature Lashana Lynch as Agent Nomi and will form part of the company's largest ever global marketing campaign showcasing Nokia smartphones as "The Only Gadget You'll Ever Need". This commercial is directed by BAFTA Award winning director Amma Asante and inspired by No Time To Die movie.

The company said that the 90-second advertisement video will be released this March 8 which will give us glimpse of the soon-to-be-launched Nokia mobile phones. It was filmed against the backdrop of the distinctive London skyline featuring St. Paul's and The Shard. In the clip, Agent Nomi will be seen utilizing the range of capabilities on her new, upcoming Nokia smartphone, to complete her mission.

New Nokia phones to be revealed on March 19

While the No Time To Die movie is pushed back from its April release to November later this year due to Corona virus outbreak, HMD Global is set to officially launch its first ever 5G-equipped flagship smartphone this coming March 19 in London. Other new devices are also expected to be unveiled on the same date and event.

The said 5G smartphone is rumored to be called the Nokia 8.2 5G. The device is expected to sport quad camera set up on the rear in a circular module together with the LED flash. On the front, rumors and leaks suggest that it could sport a waterdrop notch holding the selfie camera.

Other smartphones that are rumored to be launched this coming March 19 include Nokia 5.2 code named "Captain America", Nokia 1.3, and the Nokia C2 entry level phone. Of course these are unconfirmed reports yet and we will have to wait until March 19 to finally and officially see what HMD Global has been preparing in store for us fans.
