Nokia C2 now with 4G support and Android Pie Go Edition launched

The Nokia C1 that was recently released in the Philippines with price sticker of just Php2,990 has just got a successor, meet the new Nokia C2. Being a follow up installment, changes and upgrades are expected of the C2. That said, the new Nokia C2 now boasts higher display resolution, now supports up to 4G connectivity, and the battery is now much bigger.

Now got an HD+ display resolution

The Nokia C2 now sports a 720p or HD resolution across its 5.7-inch screen display. Underneath is a quad-core Unisoc processor. On the software side, the phone is running Android 9 Pie Go Edition. RAM and storage wise, there are 1GB for the RAM and 16GB for internal storage that is also expandable via microSD card up to 64GB.

In the camera department, users will be provided with 5MP on the rear and another 5MP on the front. Both have dedicated LED flash. Another upgrade here is the network connectivity, it now supports 4G LTE through its dual SIM card slot. The usual connectivity such as WiFi, Bluetooth, and GPS are also present here. Fingerprint scanner is nowhere to be seen but it has 3.5mm audiojack. The Nokia C2 will be released in two colors - Cyan and Black.

The battery, as mentioned earlier, received an upgrade too. From 2500mAh from C1, it's increased to 2800mAh. Availability and pricing are yet to be revealed.
