Entry level of the latest Galaxy A series

Just as the leaks and rumors have been speculating for a little while now, the new Samsung Galaxy A11, probably the cheapest of the bunch, is now officially launched. Samsung quietly made this phone official through its website. It's a bit odd though since only press photos of the device have been published on the site with the specs but no press release article. You can check out the site at the source link below.

Almost every specs has been revealed through the listing. But there are at least two major details about this phone that have not been posted, the exact processor used and mobile OS version it runs on. When it arrives here in the Philippines, assuming it will be released here just like last year's Galaxy A10, we hope this Galaxy A11 will be powered by the latest Android 10 with OneUI 2.0 version.

Entry level with triple camera

The Samsung Galaxy A11 is an entry level smartphone from the series and offers 6.4-inch HD+ screen with Infinity-O display referring to the punch-hole cutout on the upper left of the screen housing the 8MP selfie camera. On its back are the triple camera with 13MP + 2MP + 5MP configurations, the last two sensors are for ultrawide and portrait shots. Fingerprint scanner also located here. There will be an unnamed octa-core processor inside it together with either 2GB or 3GB of RAM and a 32GB internal storage. Of course support for microSD card up to 512GB.

Color options, it will be released in four different choices - red, blue, white, and black. And then for its battery, it's quite huge at 4000mAh with 15W charger.

Samsung Galaxy A11 specs:

  • 6.4-inch HD+ Infinity-O Display
  • 1560 x 720 resolution
  • 1.8GHz octa-core processor
  • 2GB / 3GB RAM
  • 32GB internal storage
  • Supports microSD card up to 512GB
  • 13MP + 2MP + 5MP triple rear camera with depth and ultrawide sensors
