Following the silent launch of the Galaxy A41 in Japan and as previously scheduled, Samsung India has also officially launched its Galaxy M21 midrange smartphone boasting a massive 6000mAh battery pack. Comparing to its Galaxy M20 predecessor from last year, this new installment received a lot of upgrades not just in the battery department.

On the front, the smartphone now sports 6.4-inch Full HD+ display with Infinity-U notch and Super AMOLED panel. There is Corning Gorilla Glass 3 to protect it. Powering the Galaxy M21 is an Exynos 9611 octa-core processor. Samsung said it comes with AI-powered Game Booster that promises to improve frame rate and stability as well as power efficiency. As for its memory and storage, there will be two selections - 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB.

For mobile photography and selfie needs, users get to enjoy 48MP on the back supported by 8MP camera for ultrawide and 5MP shooter for portrait shots. On the front is a 20MP camera. Software wise, it will run on the latest Android 10 with One UI 2.0 layering on top. Since the device is a midrage phone from Samsung, no 5G capability is expected here, instead it's the usual dual SIM and up to 4G LTE connectivity support.

Fingerprint scanner is found on the back. USB Type-C and a dedicated 3.5mm audiojack ports are present here, and that's a good thing. The Galaxy M21 will be released in two color options as well, one called Midnight Blue and another Raven Black.
