As rumors and leaks initially suggested, Samsung was indeed going to release 5G-equipped versions of its famous Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A71 smartphones. Currently, the devices have been announced in the US together with local SRPs, but we don't know yet if these will be released in the Philippines as well.
The two are basically the same as the 4G LTE variants that Samsung released earlier this year apart from the 5G connectivity support and the Exynos 980 processor that powers them. Exynos 980 is the latest processor from Samsung that is integrated with 5G support, hence the new chips on these two. Also, there is a slight changes in the design finish on the back of the phones so users can easily identify which devices support 5G and which are not.
