Netflix releases trailer for its upcoming Over The Moon animated film

There is a brand new animated series coming from Netflix titled Over the Moon and the streaming giant has just dropped its first and official trailer. This animated film, at least based on the trailer which you can watch below, has a lot going on from the plot down to animation and cinematography including that Disney-like vibe where it's going to be a heartwarming movie that many will love when it becomes available in the Fall of 2020. 

Perhaps the reason why we get that Disney vibe feeling in Over the Moon is because of the man behind its camera who is none other than director Glen Keane, a long-time Disney animator. He worked for Disney on the animation for Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Pocahontas, Tarzan, and Tangled. 

Also, Over the Moon is made possible by Netflix and director Glenn Keane in partnership with Pearl Studios the same animation studio behind the Abominable film.

In terms of the cast, Over the Moon is also star studded. There is John Cho, Kimiko Glen, Sandra Oh, Ruthie Ann Miles and Ken Jeong with new comer Cathy Ang who gives voice to Fei Fei, the main protagonist of the movie. 

Over the Moon synopsis: 

"Fueled with determination and a passion for science, a bright young girl builds a rocket ship to the moon to prove the existence of a legendary Moon Goddess. There she ends up on an unexpected quest and discovers a whimsical land of fantastical creatures."

As of writing, Netflix has not mentioned as to when this will finally arrive on their streaming platform except that it's going to be sometime in the Fall of 2020.
