ROG Philippines teams up with Scope for Change and launches CS:GO Online Charity Tournament

ASUS ROG Philippines announced its partnership with Scope for Change and launched the Counter Strike: Global Offensive Online Charity Tournament. They are inviting competitive players around the Philippines to join this online tournament for a cause and be given the opportunity to donate to a charity of their choice. The winning team will take home a Php80,000 which according to the announcement will be divided among team members and their chosen charity. 
"I wanted to translate my passion for eSports to bolster the hope of the Filipino in these times of financial and emotional turmoil. I started this project to coalesce elements of eSports and charity," says Kyler Sy, founder and organizer of  the Scope for Change tournament. "This is combining fun and camaraderie while returning gratitude to the heroes in our society during this pandemic."
  • First place prize: Php40,000
  • Second place prize: Php20,000
  • Third and fourth place prize: Php10,000
The said tournament will be hosting a 16-team single elimination format on July 17-19 and on July 24-26, 2020. The first down to third and fourth place finishers receives the corresponding prizes listed above and divided in a 3:1 ratio for the charity and team, respectively.
