Samsung unveils entry level Galaxy M01s in India

Samsung India has officially launched its new Galaxy M smartphone model called the Galaxy M01s. It is an entry level Android smartphone that offers quite nice set of specs for a more affordable price aimed at the budget segment in the market. 

The Samsung Galaxy M01s offers 6.2-inch HD+ display with 720p resolution. There is a waterdrop notch on the screen holding the 8MP selfie camera. While on its back is a dual camera set-up with 13MP and 2MP combo. In terms of RAM and ROM, there is only one variant or model, 3GB RAM and 32GB expandable storage via microSD card.  

Unlike its older Galaxy M model, this Galaxy M01s has a Helio P22 octa-core processor from MediaTek. It also supports dual SIM card slot with up to 4G LTE network capability. Being an entry level smartphone, it is not expected to sport fast charging but it does have a quite huge battery pack at 4000mAh. And then of course the device is running on the latest Android 10 with One UI on top just like many latest smartphones from Samsung.
