Xiaomi Redmi Pad PH Price Revealed

Redmi's very first tablet has just hit the Philippine shore. The Xiaomi Redmi Pad is now available for pre-order via the brand's official store on Shopee. The tablet offers impressive specs, performance, and design for a pricing that I think is just about right - starting at Php13,999.

As opposed to smartphones, one of the main highlights of tablets is its large displays which is mainly for digital consumption. The better the display quality the better the viewing experience is going to be. And the Xiaomi Redmi Pad is banking on this. Right out of the box, the tablet sports a nice and large 10.61-inch 2K display (2000 x 1200). Not only that, this display is also packed with 90Hz display and a peak brightness of up to 400 nits. Visuals are not just clear, vivid, and crisp but the animations and transitions are also smooth to the eyes. 

Powered by a MediaTek G99 processor, Xiaomi said its 8000mAh battery pack can last up to 26 hours of non-stop reading, 21 hours video playback, and 12 hours of gaming on a single charge. That's a lot of hours for gaming, binge-watching or internet browsing. In terms of RAM and storage options, the Redmi Pad will be available in two variants - one with 4GB RAM and another with 6GB RAM and both having 128GB internal storage.

As mentioned, the Xiaomi Redmi Pad will be available for purchase from the brand's official store on Shopee starting October 29. The 4GB+128GB will retail for Php13,999. However, this model will be discounted to just Php10,999 from October 29 - November 4, 2022. The 6GB+128GB, on the other hand, is to be retailed for Php14,999.
