HONOR 80 5G with 160MP Camera Unveiled


HONOR smartphone brand has new phone offerings that just got launched in China. As per rumors and leaks, which mostly proven to be accurate, the HONOR 80 Series is now officially unveiled sporting flagship-level specs. There are three models launched in the series which include the Honor 80 Pro and Honor 80 SE, in addition to the vanilla Honor 80 variant. 

The HONOR 80 sports a 6.67-inch FullHD+ OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and 2400 x 1080 resolution. On the front is a punch-hole cutout housing the 32MP selfie camera. It also got an in-display fingerprint sensor. 

Powering the HONOR 80 5G is a Snapdragon 782G processor with Adreno 642L GPU. It will be available in multiple models with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB internal storage. As for its camera, it is equipped with 160MP main camera on the back with two more other in 8MP and 2MP configuration boasting ultrawide and macro lenses. The HONOR 80 runs on MagicOS 7 based on Android 12 and support dual SIM up to 5G connectivity. 

Powering the device is a 4800mAh battery pack that comes with 66W fast charge technology. See rest of specs below.

As of this post, the Honor 80 is only available in China with a starting price of CNY2,699 or about Php21,400.
