How and Where to Register Your Globe SIM Card?
Starting December 27, 2022 all SIM card users in the Philippines will be required to start registering their SIM cards to their respective telcos as mandated by the government. All prepaid and postpaid users including foreign nationals will need to register their existing or new SIM cards. It is good to know though that local telcos like Globe Telecom worked with the government in crafting the registration process to make it a lot easier and convenient for all of us.
We have to register our Globe SIM cards by April 2023 to avoid deactivation of the SIM card. And according to Globe, this is going to be a permanent deactivation. This means, users will not able to make and receive calls and SMS. You we better register to avoid any hassle and inconvenience.
All Globe Prepaid, TM, Globe at Home Prepaid WiFi, Globe Mobile WiFi and Globe Business Prepaid subscribers are required to register their SIM cards through the online portal that Globe created. Postpaid subscribers will be automatically registered using the information they provided during the application, but Globe may contact you for confirmation or if some details are missing or need updating.
