HONOR 80 GT Launched with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Chip

Even before the year 2022 ends, HONOR launched a brand new smartphone under the HONOR 80 Series, and this new phone is simply called HONOR 80 GT. In case you wonder where it sits in the series, it's between the 80 Pro and the vanilla variants.

This device still sports 5G connectivity, so that's nice to know. Also, powering this device is the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. Together with this processor is 12GB and 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB internal storage. It's not clear yet of the phone supports microSD card for storage expansion.

On the camera side, there is a tripe rear camera system where the primary lens has 54MP Sony IMX800 lens. Second and third cameras are at 8MP and 2MP configurations with ultrawide and macro sensors. On the front is a 16MP shooter for selfie needs.

The HONOR 80 GT is running on the company's very own MagicOS 7 operating system based on Android 12. It has a fingerprint sensor embedded in its 6.67-inch FullHD+ AMOLED display.
