Huawei Honor Magic Sports 12MP Dual-Rear Camera, Quad-HD Display and More
This is the curviest smartphone I have ever seen. Meet the Huawei Honor Magic. This phone just got official in its home country of China today. And this phone is not just about being the sexiest and curviest device around, it is also a powerful one judging by the specs it is to offer to consumers once released.
Dual-camera equipped mobile phones is the latest trend in smartphones today and while Huawei's P9 and P9 Plus are two of the most popular devices in this category, why not extend that to the newest Huawei-made smartphones such as this Honor Magic? Although it is not clear yet if the two back cameras are also Leica-approved like in P9 and P9 Plus, their configuration is the same. The first 12MP is for capturing photos in color, while the second 12MP shoots in monochrome. Both snappers are equipped with f/2.2 aperture and large 1.4um pixels. For selfie purposes there is an 8MP camera on front panel with bright f/2.0 lens.
As for its software part, the device will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with the new Honor Magic Live OS on top. The display resolution is one of the highlights of this Honor Magic as well as it sports a 5.09-inch screen with Quad HD (2560 x 1440) AMOLED display. Pixels per inc is pegged at 577ppi. This is kind of exciting actually and I can't wait to see it in person and behold its beauty.

The Huawei Honor Magic houses a fingerprint sensor on its home button. And one of the "Magic" found on this device is the feature Huawei calls "DeepThink". It is a digital assistant version of their own that uses infrared cameras to make sure that only you and your trusted allies can access the phone's notifications, which again another exciting features this phone is to offer.
Another nice thing about this Huawei Honor Magic is its battery and charging capability. Keeping the device powered on is a 2900mAh battery. Now this handset is equipped with Huawei Magic Power Charger which promises to charge the phone from 0% to 90% in just 30 minutes.
Right now the phone is in pre-order stage in China for 3,700 Yuan which is about Php27,000 in Philippine currency. Huawei promises to ship this phone as early as December 23, 2016.
There is no word yet if this will be released outside of China. Hopefully, Philippines is one of the key markets to get this phone in case it will make its way to the international market.
