Android 7.0 Nougat Update for Asus Zenfone 3 Released

A good news indeed for all ZenFone 3 users in the Philippines as Asus has just officially released an Android 7.0 Nougat update for the said device just today. The announcement was made through Asus Philippines Facebook page a couple of hours ago accompanied by a photo (shown above).

This Android Nougat update should be automatically pushed to your Zenfone 3, make sure that you are connected to the WiFi and have enough battery before proceeding with the update process. In case this is your first time doing a software update, don't worry all of the data and content you have in your phone won't be deleted as long as you do the update over the air.

Now please also understand that the roll out is not going to be a one-time big-time release, meaning it will be by batch to avoid the Asus server from crashing due to a lot of users doing the update all at the same time. This also means that if you don't have the update yet pushed to your device, you just have to wait a little longer until it does. While you wait, you may manually check if the Android Nougat update is now available for you by going to SETTINGS >> ABOUT >> SYSTEM UPDATE. Or by simply tapping on the System Update pre-installed app in your device.
