The Desire 826 is the newest smartphone from HTC that was recently announced at the annual CES 2015 in Las Vegas and it sports specs that are flagship level. Some say that it falls under mid-range category but I think the specs found on this new device still fit the same higher umbrella even though it does not have the Quad HD display that many are now looking for high-end smartphones.
The HTC Desire 826 bears 5.5-nch display with full HD resolution and the Taiwanese company still brings the BoomSound technology with this device and still found on the front panel cleverly placed just under the screen. Also under the hood is the new 64-bit Snapdragon 615 processor from Qualcomm clocked at 1.7GHz, it's an octa-core. 2GB of RAM just work together with the processor and there is an expandable 16GB of internal storage. Google's newest Android 5.0 Lollipop OS running the Desire 826 which most likely has HTC Sense UI on top.
The usual connectivity options are also available on the smartphone including 3G, 4G LTE, Wifi, Bluetooth, GPS and many others.
Rear camera is at 13MP calibration with f/2.0 lens, BSI technology and LED flash. On the front side is just a 4MP shooter but is equipped with HTC's Ultrapixel technology, that should provide very good selfie pics even in low-light scenes. Plus HTC also added the Desire Eye camera features to make the photo taking activity more interesting and creative.
