The new Firefly Mobile Allure 64 LTE has recently been spotted in the wild. It is not officially announced yet but is already being sold at some stores around the metro. A Facebook user named Macdell Saludario, according to GeekyPinas, was able to see the device and had it pictured together with the specs and pricing displayed at that particular store he was at (see image below).
Looks like this Allure 64 LTE is already on soft launch just like what Firefly Mobile did with the GT100 S smartphone where a limited quantity was quietly released and then just got formally announced a couple of days back. This also means that Firefly Mobile will eventually and officially reveal this smartphone, hopefully within this week or the next.
Going back to the Allure 64 LTE, there is so much stuff that are being stuffed here by Firefly Mobile without hurting our pockets and bank accounts if we want to get our hands on this particular smartphone. It's only for Php7,999 but in return we get power-packed device, like there is a 5-inch HD IPS display with the application of OGS (one-glass solution) and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 layering, an octa-core 64-bit processor paired with 2GB of RAM and a 16GB internal storage which mostly likely is also expandable via microSD card.
Rear and front cameras we have 13MP and 8MP respectively and both are equipped with Sony sensors for better quality of photos. Also it is running on the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop OS and then it supports OTA update, now that it is powered by a 64-bit SoC, does this mean we can expect for an Android M, the most recently announced Android OS, update in the future?
Underneath the back cover sits a 2,900mAh battery to power the entire device. Also it is mentioned in the image above that the Firefly Allure 64 LTE is encased in a metal frame and is also sporting a 360-degree fingerprint scanner. That's really a lot of stuff for a Php7,999 price tag.
I know there is also a lot of bloggers and users who wants to try this smartphone and see how powerful it is and how the fingerprint scanner actually works.
